Gradually, however, verbal abuse was added to the relationship. “Then comes the foul language. You start to fight back because it’s not normal anymore, and then it becomes a fight. But I had no chance with my physical consistency. When a two-meter-tall guy with an iron is standing over you and you’re knocking on the ground, you don’t have a chance,” described the singer, who said that at that moment she partly wished that the abuse would reach a stage where it would already be highly visible.
“You think to yourself: If you have the courage to do this to me, then I will have such evidence that they won’t get you off the hook. Because you can cover up the bruises, but if he cracked my head open with an iron, I’m just not going to the show anymore.”

Once, the singer tried to call the police, but they resolved the situation with an agreement after an explanation from her partner at the time. “When the policemen left, I got one more shot. The door closes and the story continues. And I didn’t want it to be written about. Even though I was pigeonholed as a gold digger and I live very well, I was terribly afraid that if I started to deal with it more, someone would find out and start writing about it,” added the singer.
“I wanted to leave several times. But it is very difficult to leave such a person. Because if you want to solve it for good, emotional blackmail will come. ‘Sorry, I’ll never do it again, I was tired, drunk, I don’t remember.’ And you will believe that he really won’t do it again,” says Vaňková, who eventually ran away from her partner secretly. She said she planned it for six long months.
