Logan Sargeant has been immediately sidelined by Williams. The American was still in action during the Dutch Grand Prix at Zandvoort, where he managed to damage his car considerably in the third training. From the race in Monza that starts next weekend, his place will be taken by Franco Colapinto.
Sargeant’s position had been under pressure for some time. Not only did the American lack speed, he also suffered the necessary damage and was therefore a valuable boarder for the Williams team. They have found a replacement in F2 driver Franco Colapinto. The Argentine will drive his first Grand Prix kilometers this coming weekend.
