A homeless man was found dead, stabbed to death overnight from Monday to Tuesday. It was a passerby who discovered the presence of the victim who was on the public road in rue Paul-Langevin, in the Grand-Ensemble de Sarcelles, near the Nelson-Mandela sports center. It is then around four o’clock in the morning. The passer-by immediately alerted the emergency services, which quickly intervened on the scene and tried everything to revive the victim.
Despite the care provided, the Samu medical team had to decide to declare the person dead. The latter had several wounds on the side, obviously caused by a knife. According to the first elements collected, the victim is a man in his sixties who apparently lived in his car, parked in a parking lot in Sarcelles, nearby.
Two men arrested
Seized of the investigation on the instructions of the Pontoise public prosecutor’s office, the police officers of the Cergy branch of the Versailles judicial police, co-seized with their colleagues from the criminal brigade of the DRPJ, quickly managed to identify two suspects likely to be involved in the facts.
The two men, who lived in a squat in Sarcelles, were arrested during the day before being taken into custody at the premises of the judicial police as part of criminal proceedings. An investigation which will have to determine the precise origin of the facts as their still unknown circumstances.
