Bassem Kamel, campaign manager for presidential candidate Farid Zahran, commented on the “trend” spread on social media pages that contains sarcastic comments about the weakness of advertising and lack of spending, which appeared in the small size and scarcity of billboards advertising candidate Farid Zahran.

He said in a statement: We responded to these comments with all welcome, which confirm the sense of humor that characterizes the Egyptian people. We would also like to point out that even though our campaign could not compete with some other candidates in the size and spread of banners due to the difference in financial capabilities, we were able with our limited financial resources. Reaching large segments of citizens, relying on the vision we provide them with clear and possible solutions to pressing issues.

He added: From the beginning, we relied on direct communication with citizens in villages and centers in the various governorates, listening to them and talking to them. The campaign was able, in this very short period since the opening of the propaganda door until now, to organize about 16 public meetings in the presence of the candidate, and a large number of meetings with groups of citizens, Such as publishers, Egyptian intellectuals, women leaders, political and religious leaders.

He continued: When we talk about the lack of our resources compared to the campaigns of other candidates, we mention with pride the diverse cadres that our campaign has in various fields, who were able to formulate an integrated program that contains the candidate’s vision, which is shared by the parties participating in the campaign, the friendly parties, and everyone who aims to establish a state. A democratic civilization in which the citizen enjoys security, prosperity and stability.
