Sarah Steyaert and Charline Picon settle in 17th place on this first day of competition of the French Olympic Week in Hyères. The two Rochelaises who race in 49er FX are preparing for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
Charline Picon, double Olympic medalist in windsurfing (gold in Rio, silver in Tokyo), now races in 49er FX with Sarah Steyaert. After finishing 26th in the round of the World Cup in early April in Palma, the two Rochelaises will carry out a second life-size test during the French Olympic Week in Hyères.
This Wednesday, they are positioned in 20th place on this circuit which is a benchmark for preparing for the Olympic Games. More than 650 runners from 50 countries are taking part in this event until April 30.
