Sarah Sjöström had a playhouse in the semi-finals at the WC in Fukuoka, Japan.
The world star won the race – in 24.74.
Her fourth best time ever at the distance. And her best in six years.
– It’s great, I have control and set many details. It’s just a matter of continuing now, she tells SVT.
Double Swedish
Sjöström has a chance to win her fifth straight WC gold at the distance she holds the world record for.
Semi’s other Swede – Sara Junevik – also made it to the final with the eighth best time. She also broke a personal record.
The final starts on Saturday around 1:02 p.m. Swedish time.
