Sarah Kern also described the fashion designer as “difficult in the truest sense of the word.” But the model at the time seemed to be into “bad boys”. At the age of 16, Sarah Kern had already earned money as a model and used it to buy a moped. She says she said goodbye to home a bit when she was 14 years old. Her two brothers were model children, but with her it was different, she was terrible, says the now 55-year-old.

Her ex-husband went to prison in 2021. He is said to have instigated the burglary and was sentenced to one year and ten months. His lawyer told Bild that his client believes he is innocent but accepts the punishment. “This horror period has shaped me to this day. That’s why I’m committed to protecting women who have experienced violence wherever possible. This must never be allowed,” Sarah Kern told “Bild” after the verdict.
Sarah Kern marries herself
Today Sarah Kern is with management consultant Tobias Pankow. The two were already a couple. Now they have a long-distance relationship and therefore only see each other rarely – mostly when Sarah Kern is in Germany for work.
But Sarah Kern never wants to get married again. Instead, she married herself and she wants to remain faithful to this marriage. So is the relationship with Tobias Pankow just a temporary love? He was never married and has no children, so the 55-year-old would also grant her boyfriend, who is 17 years her junior, this happiness.
Sarah Kern has two children. The first son Oliver was born in 1993. Father is Otto Kern. The IBES candidate had her son Romeo Noel with Goran Munizaba in 2007.

Sarah Kern now sells her fashion via teleshopping. From underwear to clothing and jewelry, Sarah Kern offers fashion in the mostly mid-price segment. However, the designer was briefly bankrupt and moved to Malta. But today she is debt-free again.

“Germany has forgotten Sarah Kern. Now I want to take place again,” says the designer in an interview with RTL. This probably also means: She wants her products to sell better again. To match the jungle camp, the designer has also produced a jungle collection – with T-shirts in leopard print and trousers in a snakeskin look. “I needed the money,” Sarah Kern openly admits on RTL.

But what can we expect from the designer in the Australian bush? The 55-year-old says of herself that she needs harmony. But she is also a Sagittarius star sign and she slams the door on people who mess with her – forever.
The other IBES residents can also expect one of Sarah Kern’s quirks. She always wiggles her butt when she falls asleep, she says, and that can seem a bit “creepy and perverse” (editor’s note: creepy English = scary). But that’s not it, assures Sarah Kern.
Sarah Kern: Things could get emotional in the jungle camp
The 55-year-old says it’s built close to the water and gives the sad reason: “If you’re going to fight anyway, you can’t cry in front of the children,” she says. That’s why Sarah Kern often suppressed her emotions – in order to be strong for her children. With “I’m a star – get me out of here!”, this outer hard shell could crack.
