Sarah Jessica Parker’s Son James Poses with Dad Matthew Broderick in Rare Photo

Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick recently enjoyed quality family time with their eldest son, James Wilkie Broderick, 21. James took to Instagram to share some rare family photos during a nature walk. In one snapshot, he stood next to his dad, Matthew, looking almost the same height. James wore a knit purple sweater and light gray skinny jeans, while Matthew kept warm in distressed jeans and a lightweight jacket. Another photo showed Matthew and Sarah, Parker, standing back-to-back on a grassy trail as the sun set behind them.
The Ferris Bueller’s Day Off star and the Sex and the City alum are also proud parents to 14-year-old twins, Tabitha Hodge and Marion Loretta Elwell. The family of five often cherishes precious moments together, such as a rare selfie they took back in November 2023 and their attendance at the “Some Like It Hot” Broadway premiere in December 2022. Although Parker and Broderick prefer to keep their family life private, Sarah has occasionally shared special moments of their eldest, James, on social media.
On James’ 20th birthday, Sarah posted a throwback photo on Instagram, expressing how their lives changed in the most amazing ways since the day James was born. She often celebrates his milestones and has continued to do so as James studies at Brown University. Sarah sometimes fondly recounts how James has enriched their lives, creating a kaleidoscope of beautiful memories. The couple’s twin daughters are often kept away from the public eye, but Sarah mentioned in an interview that they were mesmerized to see their mother on the cover of Vogue. The daughters, who joined Sarah and Matthew on the red carpet for the premiere of “Hocus Pocus 2” in September 2022, appear to be captivated by their parents’ work.
