Singer-songwriter and electronic producer, capable of transforming a reggae classic such as Bob Marley’s “Get Up, Stand Up” as much as Carmen’s “Habanera” in a very personal way, Sarafine is the winner of “X Factor 2023”. Competitor from Fedez’s team, Sara Sorrenti (this is her real name) defeated the other competitors during the final, proposing among other things the unreleased «Sick of joy», which she wrote and produced.

Immediately the most artistically mature and surprising competitor, Sarafine is 34 years old and originally from Calabria (she comes from Vibo Valenzia), although she moved to live in Brussels where she worked as an administrative assistant. She is influenced by dubstep, techno, but also by trap and drill and she has shown herself capable of shaping restless and enveloping sounds, always giving an original touch to the songs assigned to her. She also knows how to combine her ability as a producer with a beautiful voice.
Her first fan is her brother, as was clearly seen during the live shows: every week he shouted his “go Saraaaaa!” from the front rows, going wild to cheer, punctually framed by the cameras, and he also confided to Fedez, during a video call, that he had tried to write to him several times in the past years to suggest he listen to his sister. A dream that turned into reality.
