Sara James is a talented vocalist who made it to the semi-finals of America’s Got Talent at the age of 14. Her performance of Elton John’s song “Rocket Man” won the hearts of audiences around the world. Now, the 16-year-old Pole has received another special distinction from the Americans. She told Gabi Drzewiecka about her plans.
Sara James returns to America’s Got Talent
In September, Sara returned to the program where she won the hearts of viewers from all over the world. This time in America’s Got Talent the young artist presented her debut latest single “Sunshine State of Mind”.
– I got an invitation to sing a song. It’s amazing and it’s an honor for me that I could also present my song. It’s beautiful, so crazy – Sara mentioned.
On stage, the young artist felt like a fish in water. As she admitted, at the moment of the performance she was in a slightly different world.
– We had quite few rehearsals. I won’t hide it, I was a bit stressed about how it would all turn out. But I think it turned out beautifully, it turned out really well and they made beautiful visuals in the back. It’s an amazing feeling that this is my number and that I can sing my songs and that the album is coming out in a month and a half. I’ve been waiting for this moment for a very long time – she said.
The singer also revealed that she met the judges on the America’s Got Talent wall. Simon Cowell During the conversation, he suggested that the teenager try her hand at a specific genre.
– I don’t know if I can say this, but he told me in secret that I should start doing reggaeton, that he would really like me to do it. I’ll get over it in my own way, because maybe it will actually be my thing – she said.
Sarah James – Future Plans
In the near future, Sarah James will present his debut album to his fanswhich she worked on for many months. The artist is currently on vacation in the USA.
– After all this stress, I realized that I didn’t have a vacation at all this year. And I worked quite a lot. And now we’re on a mini vacation. We’re traveling, we’re in Palm Springs today. The album’s coming out in a moment. It’s amazing, because I’ve been waiting for it to come out for so long. But I’m also glad it’s coming out now, because I’m ready – she said.
When asked if she is currently fulfilling her dreams, she replied: “I am definitely fulfilling my dreams. My goals are even higher. And they are even bigger, so I am constantly working on it. You just have to climb higher and higher and do something you love, strive for it.”
This year, Sara also took third place in the Forbes ranking among the youngest stars.
– It’s an incredible feeling. I didn’t think I could be this high. I’m so grateful, she said.
