Sapphire introduces a new graphics card Radeon RX 6750 GRE Black Diamond Edition with a matte black finish and a powerful radiator with three fans. Sapphire also published gaming benchmarks of the RX 6750 GRE compared to the RTX 4060, which is one of the best graphics cards right now.
The RX 6750 GRE is a new mid-range RDNA 2 architecture video card designed primarily for off-the-shelf systems. For several months the card was presented in two submodels, including variants on 10 and 12 GB. Oddly enough, both models have identical specs to the RX 6700 10GB and RX 6700 XT 12GB, with the exception of a slight increase in clock speed and power consumption for the 10GB model. It’s likely that the RX 6750 GRE was created to sell off surplus RDNA 2 GPUs, an issue that AMD has been facing since the introduction of the RX 7900 series.
The new Sapphire Black Diamond Edition features a 12GB RX 6750 GRE with 2560 stream processors (40 CUs), 2581 MHz clock speed, 192-bit memory interface, 16 Gbps memory bandwidth, 96 MB cache Infinity and 230 W TBP.
The card features an all-matte black theme and features gold triangular accents along the body and backplate. The back panel is made of metal and has multiple vent cutouts to allow air to flow through the back panel for increased cooling, which is provided by an aluminum heatsink with thicker dissipation fins connected to four 6nm nickel-plated heatpipes. The board does not have RGB lighting.
Sapphire also presented benchmarks of the RX 6750 GRE against NVIDIA’s latest mid-range graphics card, the RTX 4060. Games include Eternal Calamity, PUBG, Resident Evil 4 Remake, Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Legacy of Hogwarts, and Cyberpunk 2077 At default settings, the resolution was 1440P (2560×1440).
The testing graph shows that the RX 6750 GRE outperforms the RTX 4060 by 48% in Legacy of Hogwarts. In other games, the AMD graphics card was around 25-30% faster – with the exception of PUBG, which showed a much closer 8.6% gap between the two graphics cards. For example, in Cyberpunk 2077, the RX 6750 GRE achieved an average of 56 FPS, while the RTX 4060 only achieved 40 FPS. But you should still take these readings with a large degree of skepticism, since these are tests provided by the manufacturer.
The previous 6700 XT has almost identical specs to the RX 6750 GRE, so these two models should have almost identical specs. In China or you can get this Sapphire RX 6750 GRE Black Diamond Edition card for 2499 yuan or $353.
