São Paulo qualified for the Paulista U20 final after beating Ferroviária, on penalties, this Friday (10), at Arena da Fonte Luminosa, in Araraquara.
In the first game, in Cotia, the team won 3-2, and was playing for a draw to advance to the decision, but ended up defeated in regulation time (2-1, goal scored by Maioli) and the place was decided on penalties. On penalties, 4-2 for Menta’s men, with goalkeeper Leandro defending.
Even in the intense heat in the interior of São Paulo, the team managed to have a good offensive volume in the first half, collecting good chances in medium-range shots and errors in the rival’s ball. However, the score was not changed.
