São Paulo President Casares Talks Deficit and Player Values

– Now we can reach the end of the year with a deficit. In August we had an offer for three or four players. At that moment we had the peace of mind not to sell athletes and try to win the Copa do Brasil, as we did. We brought the sporting legacy and valued the athletes – stated Casares, after being re-elected as president of Tricolor.

– If by chance we have a deficit this year, we know that the athletes who were worth five or six million (euro) will be worth 18 million (euro), which is official, it already exists, but we know it can increase, increase a lot – he added .

The defender ends the year as one of the main names in the position in the country and enshrined in the squad in the Copa do Brasil won by Tricolor. The contract with the club runs until 2028.
