Tarrafal de São Nicolau, Feb 25 (Inforpress) – Education Minister Amadeu Cruz said “the rehabilitation of the Ribeira Prata basic school in the municipality of Tarrafal was a priority.
In an interview with Inforpress on Wednesday, as part of his visit to schools in the municipality of Tarrafal, Amadeu Cruz underlines the importance of carrying out a rehabilitation at the basic school of Ribeira Prata. “In Ribeira Prata, we will work as quickly as possible to keep the basic school functioning normally,” he says.
The minister says that we must always intervene in the “school park” and that despite the investments made in school rehabilitation, there are priorities that must be established.
Amadeu Cruz also underlines that the purpose of the visit is to know the concrete reality of the island with regard to the education sector and positively assesses the school network of the municipality.
