Residents of São José dos Campos who have not yet been immunized against covid and flu can be vaccinated this Monday (14). The same goes for healthcare workers, who must be vaccinated against meningitis C.
This Monday the two vaccines will also be applied from 8:00 to 17:00 in the basic health units of Vista Verde, Vila Veneza, Tatetuba, Novo Horizonte, Eugênio de Melo, Parque Industrial and Santana. The service at Cipax will be from 9:00 to 16:00. And on the public holiday of Tuesday (15), the public will be able to take the doses at the laboratory units in Vale Sul and in the Urbanova district, which will work from 7:00 to 11:30.
During normal weekdays, immunization continues in primary and family health units. The distribution of passwords takes place from 8 in the morning or according to the operational capacity and physical structure of each unit.

Meningitis c
The meningitis C vaccine is only released to public and private health care providers in the city. They have to seek a UBS to be immunized. Even those with a complete vaccination schedule should protect themselves with an extra dose. The campaign lasts until February and it is mandatory to carry the vaccination card and present a photo ID.
This criterion includes all people who work in healthcare and surveillance spaces and facilities, such as hospitals, clinics, outpatient clinics, laboratories. Doctors, nurses, nutritionists, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, biologists, biomedical doctors, pharmacists, dentists, speech therapists, psychologists, social workers, physical education professionals, veterinarians and their technicians and assistants are entitled to receive the immuniser.
The vaccination covers employees working in the support areas of these establishments, such as receptionists, security guards, cleaners, cooks, ambulance drivers. This includes professionals who provide home care, such as caregivers for the elderly, doulas and midwives, community health workers and agents for combating endemic diseases. Students in the area who provide assistance to health services can also be immunized.
