Future Neymar from Paris Saint Germain uncertain. President Santos Andres Rueda wants to try to bring back his former star.
The Brazilian football superstar actually still has a contract remaining at PSG until 2027. However, Les Parisiens are reportedly impatient with Neymar, thus opening up the opportunity to sell the player in this summer’s market.
Neymar has indeed recorded 100 goals plus 60 assists and led PSG to win 11 domestic trophies. However, Neymar’s contribution is considered to have failed to meet expectations after being redeemed from Barcelona for 222 million euros five years ago.
At first, the 30-year-old footballer was choking not wanting to leave the Parc des Princes. However, lately Neymar reportedly resigned to being sold because they felt they were no longer loved by PSG.
Santos became the club that skyrocketed the name Neymar. Reuda dreams of Neymar returning to Vila Belmiro.
“I often talk to Neymar’s father, we exchange ideas and it’s part of our daily activities,” Rueda told Radio Gauruja.
“With this opportunity and what happened with him at PSG, Santos will always leave his door open and dream.”
“When he left he said he would go and come back. We are talking, we will talk and this is a dream. My obligation is to at least try,” added Rueda.
Early in his career, Neymar strengthen Santos from the junior team before breaking into the main team. Neymar impressed with 70 goals and 35 assists in 134 appearances over five seasons, before moving to Barcelona in the summer of 2013.
