Santos is trying to hire Deyverson. The center forward was on loan at Alaves, from Spain, until June 30, but returned to Brazil after the end of the European season. O blog confirmed the interest of Santos with a member of the board of directors.
Deyverson belongs to Palmeiras and will not be used by Abel Ferreira. At the club, since 2017, Deyverson has played 85 games and scored 23 goals. At Alaves, he scored a goal in 27 matches in his recent spell.
Santos has already signed four players for Fernando Diniz: left-back Moraes and defender Danilo Boza, from Mirassol; midfielder Zanocelo, from Ferroviária-SP, and attacking midfielder Marcos Guilherme, on loan from Inter.
The idea of the Santos board is to further strengthen the cast, increasing the experience and variety of options for Diniz.
