This Saturday afternoon (17), the cast of Santos worked in Vila Belmiro, aiming for the confrontation against Novorizontino. Coach Fábio Carille led a training session with physical work, movement, passing and finishing.
The coach should promote the return of Felipe Jonatan to the team on the left flank. The athlete, who is recovering from edema, must start the match to gain rhythm in the game. At last Wednesday’s press conference, Carille mentioned his intention to manage the squad in the last four rounds, considering that Peixe has already secured classification. However, the coach still has doubts about which players to save and in which of the games.
The most worn out players in the last matches were Aderlan, Gil and Pituca. The last two have played in every game so far this season. Another doubt is in the attack, as, with the entry of Morelos, Pedrinho and Willian Bigode compete for the last place.
The likely Santos would be: João Paulo; Aderlan (Hayner), Joaquim, Gil (Messias), Felipe Jonatan; João Schmidt, Diego Pituca (Tomás Rincón) and Otero; Guilherme, Pedrinho (Willian Bigode) and Alfredo Morelos.
Santos and Novorizontino face each other this Sunday (18), at 4pm, in Vila Belmiro, in a match for the 9th round of Paulistão. After this game, Carille will have a full week to train his squad, something that hasn’t been possible since the start of the season.
