Santos prepares a project to “anticipate” the return of star Neymar – Diário do Peixe

oh Santos planning an ambitious “Neymar Project” to try and anticipate the star’s return to the club. The striker has a contract with Al Hillal until the middle of 2025, but Saudi Arabian media reported this week that the club and the player are exploring the immediate end of the contract.

Santos’ proposal for Neymar includes a different payment model, which would include a basic salary and percentages in commercial activities, shirt sales and sponsorships. The club also has Puma, which is the sponsor of the player. DIÁRIO discovered that the club is considering the possibility of exchanging Umbro, the current supplier of sports equipment, for Puma, which would also contribute financially to the project and expand the marketing campaign of the club and Neymar himself.

The relationship between the president of Santos, Marcelo Teixeira, Neymar and his father strengthened, especially after the financial support of Blaze, a family partner and main supporter of Santos. The player’s father, who broke the agreement with the bookmaker, has already stated in interviews that Neymar’s return to Santos is “inevitable”, increasing the hope among the club’s leaders.

With a 99.88% chance of guaranteeing access to Serie A, Santos sees the return of Neymar as a fundamental reinforcement for their return to the Brazilian football elite. Peixe needs a victory against Coritiba, next Monday (11), at 9 pm, at Couto Pereira, to officially secure a place in Serie A 2025.
