O Santos should announce next Monday (11) a different pre-season than in recent years. Peixe was invited and agreed to participate in a training period in Dubai, between the 7th and 14th of January, which will also include a friendly match.
The agreement was made by football coordinator, Alexandre Gallo. The club must receive a sum of money for the friendly and for the time spent preparing outside Brazil.
President Marcelo Teixeira did not officially confirm the information, but hinted that everything is well underway at the press conference after being elected last Saturday (9).
“We also have a project related to a possible pre-season abroad. We are still in the process of dialogue, but there is a great possibility that Santos will start activities in a different way, seeking the necessary path to guarantee the success of this next three years”, said Teixeira.
