Santiago Bernal, photographer and resident of Guadalajara, dies at 94 | BE Guadalajara

Although Santiago Bernal Gutierrez was born on July 24, 1927 in Santiuste de San Juan Bautista, Segovia, He can be considered, without any doubt, from Guadalajara on his own merits. Not only because for 40 years he presided over the Photographic Grouping of the city, but because through his objective, his development, his gaze and his passion, he discovered a Guadalajara full of history, beauty and nature.

Mountaineering lover, the Caballada de Atienza, the Octava de Valverde, the botargas or the Holy Week processions, received multiple tributes and published part of his work in the book “Santiago Bernal, look alive“.
