Hundreds of Santa Clauses are getting ready to throw a party in the streets and bars of Manhattan this coming December 9 as part of the SantaCon 2023.
Every year dozens of people, mostly young people, carry out this activity whose organizers describe it as l The largest gathering of people dressed as Santa in the world.
The party, which mostly consists of visit different bars dressed in Christmas costumesc It will start at 10 in the morning this coming Saturday on Broadway Street.
There they will take a souvenir photo and then begin the tour of the businesses in the area.
For this reason, The MTA announced that it will prohibit the entry of alcoholic beverages into Long Island Rail Road and Metro-North stations.
The ban begins at 4:00 a.m. on Saturday until noon on Sunday.
Drinks will not be allowed on trains or consumed at stations.
The NYPD will beef up security at busiest stations such as Penn Station, Grand Central Madison and Grand Central Terminal.
