The city council of Santa Pola launches a campaign under the title, ‘Register in Santa Pola, you win, we all win! destined to projects, programs and activities in the matter of international residents.
From the Alicante Provincial Council, area of Recruitment, International Residents, Volunteering and Development Cooperation has allocated an amount of € 2,165.90 for the municipality.
The project is aimed at expand the activities and services that are currently offered from the community social center office and is intended for actions such as face-to-face workshops or online (depending on the evolution of the pandemic) both in the urban center and in Gran Alacant and awareness-raising actions with secondary school students.
Likewise, in this campaign they explain the benefits of being registered in the place of residence.
Among the individual benefits are some such as access to enrollment in child and adult education centers, access to transportation and dining scholarships as well as having the SIP for health care for primary care and specialties.
Regarding collective benefits, it’s about enjoying greater services, since these increase when the population grows. Therefore, social resources, public transport and health professionals would increase.
