Santa Pola has considered the second outbreak of Coronavirus in the municipality controlled. The mayor, Loreto Serranor, has explained to Radio Elche Cadena SER and Elche Tv, that the infected people have been quarantined for what is under control.
The Ministry of Health announced yesterday that it had detected a new sprout of Coronavirus in the town of Santa Pola. Apparently a company lunch would have been the beginning of an outbreak in the workplace and, at the moment, there are four workers who have tested positive.
This outbreak is added to the one that Health took for granted a few days ago in four people from the same family nucleus also in Santa Pola. All the people with whom they had come into contact are also in quarantine and, for now, this is the only municipality in the province of Alicante in which there have been new cases of COVID-19.
