The beaches of Santa Cruz de Tenerife will once again have capacity control during Holy Week. The Councilor for Security, Evelyn Alonso, has confirmed this in Radio Club Tenerife of Cadena SER, where the recovery of the traffic lights regulating access to Las Teresitas or Anaga.
Alonso, after meeting with members of the National Police and Civil Guard, with the aim of preparing the necessary devices for these dates, recalls that “We cannot put all the responsibility on the authorities” therefore, he expects exemplary behavior from citizens, especially when Tenerife is at level 3 alert for coronavirus.
And in that sense, it considers that citizens, “They must inquire about the capacity of each beach” during these days. Even, “If we get to a beach and it is full, we turn around”, has added the Councilor for Security of the Santa Cruz de Tenerife City Council, Evelyn Alonso.
