INMES midwives and nurses can apply for a master’s degree in palliative care or in nphrology-dialysis as soon as possible. The two training offers were valid on Thursday, September 23, 2021. The validation act which formalizes this advance of master’s offers in nphrology-dialysis and palliative care took place at the JECO hotel in Dassa Zoum.
The National Medical and Sanitary Institute Inmes is further expanding its study offerings. At the start of the next school year, two master’s courses will be taken into account, thereby ensuring the level of midwifery and nursing learners at the upper level. At the forefront of the culmination of this project, the Belgian development agency Enabel and the French development agency Afd. A reform welcomed by the director of the Inmes Lisette Odoulami. According to him, this is part of the dynamics of the reorganization of the health system for more effective coverage; improvement of the living conditions of the populations by strengthening basic social services and social protection. The diversification of training offers offered to health professionals will have a positive impact on the health system by providing the Minister of Health as the user with qualified nursing staff contributing to improving the quality of care.
The beneficiaries of these offers at the end of the day will come out with a nursing diploma specializing in palliative care or in nphrology-dialysis, manager of a specific unit, manager of a health structure; consultant in palliative care management or dialysis nphrology; research associate in palliative care or even manager of palliative care or dialysis nphrology projects / programs. This is a valid response to the many needs for qualified personnel observed in the field.
