CONSERVATORY NATIONAL SUPERIEUR DE MUSIQUE ET DE DANCE-LYON (LR-21-1423/14375/14372) presents this show Sans Tambour is the story of the collapse that happens without warning of a house and the people who inhabit it . From this situation Samuel Achache and all the actors and musicians compose a piece in the form of paintings which recount several eras, from today to the Stone Age, and explore the parts of the lives of those who lived this house.The plateau is a site in permanent deconstruction, made of layers of the past and traces of the present. Song comes from the ruins and musical instruments from the rubble; each musician-performer tries to rebuild with what is left. Accompanied as musical director by Florent Hubert and some of his collaborators, Samuel Achache returns to a very musical form which starts from the Lied as an intimate form to work on the together, making it carried by several voices. The lieder are miniatures. Where the symphony is a development, a totalizing image of the world and of thought, the Lied form works on the fragment, the dive into ultra subjective images, deep but fleeting. Like fragments. If the lieder are fragments, we work from fragments of fragments. The relationship that each of the protagonists will have with the music will also be at the center of the action: if they must have as a means of expression music or singing when words are no longer enough, everyone will have a way of rubbing together, of weaving, of building their web with it.
