Rai signal fails in Sanremo
Chaotic first minutes on TV for Sanremo, while the fourth evening of the Festival was getting underway at the Ariston. On Rai1, in fact, the TV signal was interrupted several times, with various “flash” clouds on spectators’ television screens.
In addition to black moments, while Amadeus was joking with Fiorello, were also reported audio problemswith the two showmen “changed” by the technical hitch.

The problems have been encountered from North to South throughout Italy and the problem does not only concern television broadcasts, but also live broadcasts on RaiPlay. Previously the problems had also been reported during Tg1, with several services temporarily skipped in audio and video, as well as during the Prima Festival hosted by Paola and Chiara with Mattia Stanga and Daniele Cabras.
It is not clear whether the problem is linked to the pouring rain and wind that are raging in Sanremo in these hours.

Others, however, complained about a disservice, albeit temporary, which is not acceptable for an event like Sanremo and on state TV.

Problem resolved and off to the race
In the following minutes the situation seems to have resolved and the performances of the competing singers, with the opening of Sangiovanni with Aitana, continued without apparent hitches.
The program of the fourth evening
The evening of Friday 9 February is the one dedicated to covers, an opportunity for the 30 competing artists to pay homage to the history of the Festival and, in general, of Italian music and beyond.
After Marco Mengoni, Georgie e Teresa Mannino, it will be Lorella Cuccarini to co-host with Amadeus. Among the guests Arisa e Gigi D’Agostino, Pecco Bagnaia and the actresses Margherita Buy ed Elena Sofia Ricci.
