The cast of hosts for the five evenings of Sanremo 2024, from 6 to 10 February, is completed. Amadeus once again chooses Tg1 for the official announcement, in connection with Fiorello and the glass of Viva Rai2!. On Wednesday it will be Giorgia’s turn, on Thursday it will be Teresa Mannino’s turn, on Friday it will be Lorella Cuccarini’s turn and for the grand finale Ama wanted her lifelong friend, Ciuri himself, alongside her. For the first evening, in the role of super guest and co-host, Amadeus had already announced Marco Mengoni, winner of the last edition of the festival with the song with Due Vite. The announcement in grand style becomes a show within the news, with Fiorello connected from the Foro Italico in a red jacket waiting for the co-hosts, who get out one at a time from three black vans. Here is Giorgia, a performer with extraordinary vocal skills, a veteran of the festival with five participations (the last in 2023 with the song Parole dette male) and the victory in 1995 with Come Saprei. After her debut at the cinema and an overwhelming tour of the arenas, she will be next to Amadeus on the evening of Wednesday 7 February. Thursday 8th here is Teresa Mannino, actress, comedian, cabaret artist, multifaceted talent lent to TV, theater and cinema. On Friday 9th Lorella Cuccarini, television presenter, singer, actress and dancer, will take the stage, returning to Rai screens directly from the school of Amici. “The nice thing is that no one knew about the other”, jokes Cuccarini live on Tg1. “I only knew the drivers”, Fiorello’s joke. “I do Sanremo to get to know Giorgia and Lorella”, echoes Teresa Mannino. “Haven’t you noticed that there’s still an evening to go?”, Ama asks her friend Ciuri before announcing that the surprise is him: with Fiorello the artistic director made his debut in his first edition of the festival and with him he will close the one that announced as his fifth and final experience on the Ariston stage. “You’re telling me that I’ll have to stay with you all evening: Amadeus, I’m going to La Nove”, ironically comments the showman, who will follow the entire duration of the festival in Sanremo with Viva Rai2!. Two days ago Amadeus announced the return to the stage of Giovanni Allevi, who has been fighting multiple myeloma since 2022: the composer will be on the Ariston stage on Wednesday 7 February to perform on the piano again. All eyes are now on the cast of competing singers, which the artistic director will announce, again on Tg1, on Sunday 3 December. Then, next week, Wednesday the 6th, “there will be another surprise”.
