Pino Scott is a national rock icon. Interviewed by Mow Magwas not at all subtle in the comments on the San Remo Festival. This edition was studded with controversies, especially political ones, which in certain situations made the competition overshadow, despite the presence of 28 artists. “A persistent sense of vomiting”, is what Scotto felt while watching Sanremo.

“I thought we were just the most ignorant country in Europe – he added – and instead we deserve extinction, we suck. I made an effort to watch an evening of it, but I couldn’t find three notes in a row that could be defined as music. But who is this asshole who chose the pieces?”. So here came the shot up Amadeus: “And when did he ever understand anything about music, this one? I think we’ve hit rock bottom. By now the songs don’t count anymore a ca***”.

We therefore return to the starting point, which is that the Festival has become an event in which controversies count more than the competition, especially if politics is involved: “It is the gossip that counts, how all the puppets arranged on stage dress and how they fart. No one gives a damn about music anymore”.
