Waiting for the official list, the first rumors about the singers who will participate in the 72nd edition of the Sanremo Festival, scheduled from 1 to 5 February 2022. The weekly Spend, directed by Alfonso Signorini, revealed in advance the names of the top 16 names in the race. This year the artists will be 24 in total, but there will be no distinction between the New Proposals and the Big category. The complete list will be announced on 15 December on Rai 1.
