Zlatan increasingly loose on stage, the Italian-Albanian artist leads the ranking

This time Zlatan Ibrahimovic did not arrive on the run, by means of luck: he enjoyed this fourth evening of the Sanremo Festival in relaxation, he really begins to become familiar with the stage, with the context, with the reality in which he finds himself. He was the only sportsman in the lineup, waiting for the grand finale with Federica Pellegrini and Alberto Tomba as super guests. Ibra continued on the wave of the gags with Amadeus of the previous nights, then asking for an “auto standing ovation” from the orchestra (“they are the real champions”). And he presented the performances of Colapesce-Dimartino and Coma_Cose.

In the long sequence of the 26 big names competing with their songs, there was room for some moments of the show: Amadeus and Fiorello with wigs on the notes of “We are women”, an ironic version of the hit by Sabrina Salerno and Jo Squillo. Guests like Mahmood and Alessandra Amoroso, who first sang with Emma then alone, after the dialogue with the actress Matilde Gioli in homage to the workers in the world of music and entertainment, brought to their knees by Covid which closed the theater and canceled concerts . There was, of course, Achille Lauro: first flag bearer with the Italian flag on his shoulder, then a kiss to the guitarist Boss Doms, finally a duet with an unusually dark version of Fiorello. Gaudiano’s “Gunpowder” triumphed among the New Proposals. According to Davide Shorty (“Regina”), third Folcast (“Discover yourself”), fourth Wrongonyou (“Flight lessons”). The vote was divided between the press room (33%), opinion poll (33%) and televoting (34%). Only Folcast is left without a smile, because the other two finalists bring home important awards: the critics’ award “Mia Martini” to Wrongonyou, the press room award “Lucio Dalla” to Davide Shorty.
