Sanju Samson : Shreyas Iyer injured; Sanju Samson in India ODI squad against Australia – Zee Hindustan Malayalam

Malayalam player Sanju Samson may be included in the Indian team for the ODI matches against Australia that will come after the Border Gavaskar Trophy Test series. The report suggests that Sanju Samson may be considered for the team instead of the injured Shreyas Iyer. Cricbuzz reports that Shreyas Iyer may be ruled out of the ODI series against Australia due to injury. In the absence of a right-handed batsman, the Malayali star is likely to be considered for the Indian team, according to InsideSport’s report.

India’s squad for ODI series against Australia announced in February – Rohit Sharma, Hardik Pandya, Shubman Gill, Virat Kohli, Shreyas Iyer, Suryakumar Yadav, KL Rahul, Ishan Kishan, Ravindra Jadeja, Kuldeep Yadav, Washington Sundar, Yuzvendra Chahal, Mohammad Siraj, Mohammad Shami, Umran Malik, Shardul Thakur, Axar Patel and Jaydev Unadghat. Australia have a three-match ODI series in India. The first match will be played at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on March 17. The match will then be held in Visakhapatnam on 19th and finally in Chennai on 22nd March.
