Kotian also won the Player of the Tournament award in the Ranji Trophy after scoring 502 runs and taking 29 wickets. The player has taken 24 wickets from 22 matches in T20 cricket.
Meanwhile, Yaswasi Jaiswal scored 39 runs off 28 balls for Rajasthan. West Indies star Shirmon Hetmyer brought Rajasthan to victory in the last overs. The West Indies player was decisive with 27 runs from 10 balls including one four and three sixes at a strike rate of 270.
With the win, Sanju and his team are at the top spot with 10 points from six matches, including five wins and one loss. Rajasthan’s next match is against Kolkata Knight Riders on April 16. The venue is Eden Gardens, KKR’s home ground.
