Jaipur: Captain Sanju Samson has joined the Rajasthan Royals team ahead of the Indian Premier League 2024 season. Rajasthan Royals released the video of Sanju arriving at the hotel and becoming a part of the team. Sanju’s arrival is accompanied by the hit song ‘Tiger Ka Hukum’ from Rajinikanth’s Jailer movie.
Rajasthan’s English player Jos Buttler has also reached the team camp. Sanju last played for Team India in the Twenty20 series against Afghanistan in January this year. Sanju joined Rajasthan Royals in 2013 at the age of 18. He took over as the team captain in 2021.
Last season, Rajasthan was at the fifth position with 7 wins and 7 losses from 14 matches. In 2022, under Sanju, Rajasthan reached the IPL final. Rajasthan’s first match is against Lucknow Supergiants at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur on March 24.
