In a statement, the Mexican Institute of Social Security (IMSS) in Morelos announced that it continues with the disinfection and biodecontamination of areas, at the Family Medicine Unit (UMF) No. 20 in Cuernavaca.
The head of the Administrative Services Headquarters, Miguel Mier Sánchez, reported that this day of sanitation and disinfection of common and critical areas reinforces daily cleaning actions to prevent contagion of covid-19.
The objective of this type of action in the medical units of the IMSS is to guarantee the safety of the personnel, as well as of the beneficiaries who come to this UMF.
It is important to mention that on this occasion disinfection was carried out in FMU No. 20 and later it will be carried out in other units, at the same time the protocols and training of health workers around the health emergency are strengthened.
The disinfection covered all the furniture in the various areas of UMF No. 20, including Family Medicine offices, dental offices, covid-19 office, pharmacy and waiting rooms, among other spaces of this first-level care medical unit.
Mier Sánchez indicated that these sanitation actions are permanent at the IMSS facilities in Morelos.
