Bayern Munich striker Sadio Mane punched his teammate Leroy Sane in the face in the dressing room after the German club lost 3-0 to Manchester City in the Champions League, according to press reports.
Network reported sky Sports, that Sani’s lip was bleeding after the quarrel, in which other players in the team intervened in order to separate them.
According to the site, “GiantOn the German newspaper Bild, the two players entered into a discussion in the dressing room, after Mane expressed his frustration with his colleague Sani’s play, so that the argument raged and developed into a physical quarrel.
The duo was seen arguing on the field in the last minutes of the match, on Tuesday evening, as City managed to win 3-0 at the Etihad Stadium in the first leg of the Champions League quarter-finals.
Sky Sports said that after the plane carrying the team returned to Munich, Mane took a private car, while Sani rode on the club bus.
Bayern Munich did not comment on the incident.
Sani wasted an outright solitude when the result indicated that Manchester City advanced by a clean goal, before the English team scored two goals, while Mane participated as a substitute in the last twenty minutes, in which the ball rarely reached him.
