Unexpected clash on Twitter between Sangiovanni and some of his followers. The singer, like many in recent days, has talked about what is happening on his social channels between Russia and Ukraine, with an ongoing war that comes just after two painful and difficult years due to the pandemic. The young singer-songwriter, protagonist of Amici and then of Sanremo 2022drew a parallel between the two situations, comparing what has happened in the last two years.
“We ran to these weapons two years ago as if it were an anticipation of what would come immediately after” the singer tweeted, posting a photo of him with a laser thermometer in hand, an object that has become common in many clubs and shops during the pandemic. A message that therefore had the purpose of highlighting how for two years we have gone from thermometers to weapons, objects with a similar shape with totally different functions, which the singer saw as a “premonition”.
Sangiovanni, the tweet and the controversy
The tweet of Sangiovanni sparked an unexpected controversy. Not everyone, in fact, understood the meaning of the songwriter’s message. There are those who asked if it was a piece of a song or a new record and those who did not appreciate the association. One user commented by writing: “Sorry, but you could have saved the comparison. Thermometers do no harm, they do not kill people, weapons do. I don’t find logic in what you wrote “. Another account, on the other hand, commented appreciating the comparison: “I don’t know how these wonderful mental associations come to you! You have a sensitivity associated with a spirit that leave me speechless! I would also talk to you about eternal nothingness… Something would come out of it! ”.
Singer he then clarified what he meant in a new tweet, for those who did not understand the meaning: “Two years ago they gave us gun-like laser thermometers and now in Ukraine they deliver real guns to civilians.
