Jakarta, CNN Indonesia —
Indonesian National Team defender Sandy Walsh returned to training after recovering from a mild concussion injury suffered at the weekend.
Sandy Walsh, who is also a KV Mechelen player, had a mild concussion after colliding with Oh Leuven striker Jon Thorsteinsson in the 10th minute when the two teams clashed in the Belgian League at the AFAS Stadium.
After this incident, Sandy Walsh received a lot of support from Indonesian national team supporters. Three days after the detention incident, Sandy Walsh provided the latest news.
“Hi Garuda friends, I’m fine,” said Sandy Walsh in a post on Insta Story.
The 28 year old player also said he didn’t need much time to rest and recover.
“I’ve been back training since today,” said Sandy.

The Indonesian player also expressed his gratitude for the support of the Indonesian public during his recovery period.
“Thank you for the support,” said Sandy Walsh.
Sandy Walsh had to wait quite a long time to make his debut with the Indonesian national team as a naturalized player. The Belgian-born player made his debut in the Garuda squad when they won 2-0 over Turkmenistan on FIFA Matchday, early September.
In his debut, Sandy Walsh received a lot of praise from Indonesian national team supporters. Sandy Walsh played quite solidly in the Indonesian defense line with Jordi Amat and also Alfeandra Dewangga.
