SANDE: Emergency Police (UP) stopped a car on the E18 near Hanekleiva on Friday evening.
At the wheel sat a man of about forty. UP suspected him of drunk driving after measuring a violent speed. In the 100 zone, the measurement showed him maintaining a speed of 145km/h. The first blood alcohol test gave results.
– It has far exceeded the legal value, writes the Sørøst police district on Twitter.
Further samples were taken which documented the high alcohol content.
– The driver had almost two levels of alcohol in his blood. The driver’s license was confiscated, police said.
