Sandmarc has introduced a unique additional microscope lens. It basically offers a 40x zoom, which, in cooperation with the 5x optical zoom of the iPhone 15 Pro Max, means up to two hundred times the magnification of what you are photographing. In the case of the “Pro” variants, the combined magnification of the scene is “only” 150x. The lens has a built-in ring of diodes with several modes, which ensures that the body of the iPhone does not shade you in any way when taking pictures of details. You recharge the battery in the lens via USB-C.
The lens itself will help you penetrate into the micro world, in which millimeters in photos look like tens of centimeters. You only need to screw it into the thread that is part of the enclosed rear protective case. Subsequently, completely new possibilities for observing the microworld will open up for you, because through the camera viewfinder you will capture the details of the texture of clothes, the eye of a needle or even the tip of a pen tip.

The new lens is not only intended for the iPhone 15 series, but also for the iPhone 12 and newer models. You choose the lens specifically for the iPhone, so Sandmarc will also pack a matching cover for you to screw it into. The microscope objective itself has a height of 12.8 mm, a diameter of 41 mm and an angle of view of 68 degrees.

The lens will be on the market from the end of November, and will cost, after conversion and VAT, approximately 3,600 CZK. Sandmarc also sells its photo accessories on the Czech market, so it is obvious that this interesting accessory for iPhones will also arrive in the Czech Republic.
