JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Deputy Chairman of the Party’s Board of Trustees Gerindra Sandiaga Uno say, political agreement between the Chairperson of the Gerindra Party Prabowo Subianto with Anies Baswedan signed by three people.

He also said that the agreement between Prabowo, Anies and himself was written in handwriting.

“That was handwritten. So the agreement is an agreement that in my opinion thinks about the interests of the nation and the state, the interests of when we nominate, what interests Pak Prabowo expects of us both (him and Anies) and the points,” explained Sandi at the Presidential Palace Complex, Monday (30/1/2023).

“The agreement is legal. It was signed by the three (Prabowo, Sandi and Anies) and as far as I remember there was a stamp,” he said.

When asked about whether the agreement was still valid, Sandiaga emphasized that as long as it was not terminated, it would still be until now.

Sandi further emphasized that he was still committed to the agreement.

“I am committed. I have come to this point because I signed it, I am committed and maybe others can be asked,” he added.

As is well known, the political agreement between Prabowo Subianto and Anies Baswedan was revealed in Akbar Faizal Uncensored’s YouTube broadcast on Saturday 27 January 2023.

At that time, Sandi, who was a guest star on the podcast, was asked by Akbar Faizal about the agreement.

“Oh, the one on the podcast. In my opinion, because that was the agreement, I directed that one of the podcasts have a follow-up podcast,” Sandiaga said at the Presidential Palace Complex, Jakarta, Monday.

Sandi revealed that the agreement involved three parties, namely himself, General Chairperson of the Gerindra Party Prabowo Subianto and Anies Baswedan.

The three parties also signed the agreement.

“I, Pak Prabowo, and Pak Anies. And at that time Pak Fadli Zon wrote the draft and wrote his own hand, and as far as I know now (the agreement) is also held by Pak Dasco,” said Sandi.

“So later maybe Pak Dasco or Pak Fadli who might be able to provide information because it also concerns Pak Prabowo and Pak Anies,” he continued.

Sandi revealed that the agreement made by the three of them was related to the 2017 DKI Pilgub.

The agreement was signed before Anies and Sandi registered with the DKI Jakarta KPU as candidates for governor and deputy governor candidates in September 2016.

However, Sandiaga did not want to detail the contents of the agreement. Because according to him, it was the one who currently held the agreement sheet that conveyed it.

When asked whether the agreement also contained the 2024 presidential election, Sandi again refused to answer.

“Please ask about it. I think it will be better explained later by those who hold the agreement. But indeed the agreement was needed at that time because there must be an agreement on how we move forward,” he said.

“Later you can ask those who hold it, I think it’s more ethical to ask Pak Fadli or Pak Dasco,” Sandi added.
