Sandiaga Uno Resigns from Gerindra Party and Apologizes to Prabowo Subianto

Deputy Chairman of the Gerindra Party Board of Trustees Sandiaga Uno declared himself to have said goodbye to the leadership Gerinda Party to leave the board and membership of the party.

Sandiaga is also said to have conveyed a special apology to the Chairman of the Board of Trustees and the Ketum of the Gerindra Party, Prabowo Subianto.

“Earlier, I also had a private chat with Bang Dasco, I conveyed several thoughts at the same time. If there have been mistakes so far, please say goodbye. Hopefully, of course, at this Eid, we will continue to strengthen friendship, fight together,” Sandiaga said at the Deputy Speaker’s official residence. RI F-Gerindra Dasco, Kuningan, South Jakarta, Sunday (23/4).

“Earlier I also asked to say goodbye, hopefully at this special moment on the second day of Eid,” added Sandiaga.

Dasco immediately responded to Sandiaga’s statement. The Daily Chair of the Gerindra Party said Sandiaga would undergo a new assignment elsewhere.

“Pak Sandi has also conveyed a number of things, especially an apology to the ketum,” said Dasco.

Sandiaga has also given a letter to Dasco. However, Dasco has not opened and has not read Sandiaga’s letter.

“A letter I have not opened but the contents,” he added.

Sandiaga Uno was previously said to be joining the United Development Party (PPP). But the certainty will be decided next week.

Sandi admitted that he had thought carefully during the month of Ramadan about this.

“Once again I say, I ask for time during the last days of the holy month of Ramadan to contemplate and it’s over. Maybe in the next 1 week an announcement will be made, friends, please be patient,” said Sandi in South Jakarta, Friday (21/4) ).

PPP Deputy Chairperson Amir Uskara also confirmed the news of Sandiaga’s move to his party.

He also admitted that there was no problem with the communication between PPP and Gerindra. According to him, his move to PPP was a personal matter and not a party matter.

“My communication with Gerindra is good. This means that Sandi’s issue is a personal matter. Pak Sandi wants to go to PPP, it’s not a problem for Gerindra,” said Amir at the Parliament Complex, Thursday (13/4).
