Sandi absent at president winning body event, Gerindra touches loyalty

Deputy Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Gerindra Party, Sandiaga One, was not present at the inauguration of the Gerindra Party Presidential Winning Body office. Vice President (Waketum) Gerindra Habiburokhman did not know why Sandiaga was absent from this important event for his party.

“I don’t know (why Sandiaga was not present),” Habiburokhman told reporters on Saturday (7/1/2023).

Habiburokhman said Gerindra’s cadres who attended the event were fully booked. He said there were cadres outside the area who left overland the day before the event started.

“But those present were very complete. There were friends who left at dawn from Central Java electoral district or those from South Sumatra, my colleague Ms. Sri Melyana, South Sumatran electoral district, left yesterday afternoon overland from Lahat City,” he said.

According to him, Gerindra rarely celebrated because Ketum Prabowo didn’t want to disturb her paintings. However, Habiburokhman said that if there is a festive event that Prabowo attends, cadres participate as much as possible.

“In fact, Gerindra is one of the parties who rarely holds ceremonies because Pak Prabowo doesn’t want to disturb his staff too often,” she said.

He then touched on loyalty. You said Gerindra’s cadres fully supported ketum for the 2024 presidential election.

“But if there is an event with him, we all do our best to be able to attend. In fact, loyalty is not just lip service, it really needs to be implemented. We have decided that Pak Prabowo will be the 2024 presidential candidate , so we are working optimally in the constituencies and in the DPP,” he added.

Prabowo’s answer

As is known, Gerindra Party held an inauguration ceremony for the Gerindra Party presidential winning body office on Saturday (7/1). The winning office is located at Jl Letjen S Parman, Slipi, West Jakarta.

Ketum Gerindra Prabowo Subianto was present. Also, Gerindra officials who attended included Ahmad Muzani, Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, Habiburokhman, Budisatrio Djiwadono. In addition to this, Prabowo’s younger brother Hashim Djojohadikusumo and former DKI Deputy Governor Ahmad Riza Patria who is also DPD Chairman Gerindra Jakarta were also present.

However, Sandiaga One, who held a high position in Gerindra, was nowhere to be seen. When asked about Sandiaga Uno’s absence, Prabowo was reluctant to give a long answer.

“You draw your own conclusions, let’s think about it,” Prabowo said at the venue.
