Sander had other expectations On 1he says A Podcast about Media. The presenter thinks the role is not entirely suitable for him, he explains. He says he was promised that he could be who he is and that he could convey a colored opinion. But that turned out to be different. “Then you notice that you are actually forced into a classic presenter role: I just have to read autocue and ask questions and divide it neatly between Welmoed and me,” says Sander. “That’s not really what I had in mind.”

Sander also thinks that he has not been able to show his best side yet. “What I am good at: pricking, asking questions, also steering with a little opinion,” says the presenter. “If I have to play a neutral presenter, it is a role that really just doesn’t suit me well.” Moreover, it is an attack on his rhythm. “Then I walk in between 4 and 5 o’clock. I read in, not always good, and then you sit there. Then you go home, you sleep badly and then your day off is a bit cunt.”
