Will Smith’s Oscar slap in the face has new spinoffs as the two TV giants Netflix and Apple, through its Appel TV+ service, have withdrawn their bids to acquire the film project about the life of actor Will Smith, reported the electronic journal noovomoi.ca.
The two companies were interested in producing the “biopic” on the actor, however the slap served to Chris Rock at the Oscars puts the lead in the wing to the project.

As a reminder, Netflix was producing the action thriller “Fast and Loose”, and Sony was working on “Bad Boys 4”.
Netflix and Apple + will relocate funds and develop “original ideas with new black actors”, reports the same source.
