According to the publication, in April the share of Greek shipowners in the transportation of Russian oil tripled compared to the previous year. In total, 190 tankers departed from Russian ports in April, 76 of them under the flag of Greece.
So, at the end of April, the tanker Nissos Rhenia loaded Russian oil in the port of the Netherlands and headed for Singapore. In addition, the number of shipments to India, China and South Korea has increased.
According to OPEC, Russia exports 7 million barrels of oil and petroleum products daily.

European Union now getting ready to adopt the sixth package of sanctions against the Russian Federation. It should include restrictions on the purchase of Russian oil.
According to European Commissioner for Economic Affairs Paolo Gentiloni, the EU introduce a complete oil embargo within nine months. However, individual countries – the Czech Republic, Hungary and Slovakia – get a reprieveas reported by the media.
Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmitry Kuleba urged do not postpone the ban on the purchase of Russian oil until 2023. Meanwhile, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban named embargo “atomic bomb” for the economy of their country.
