The President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, has closed this Wednesday the XIV Congress of the PSOE of Galicia (PSdeG), which has evidenced the division between the new secretary general of training, Valentín González Formoso, and his predecessor and rival in primaries, Gonzalo Gentleman. The president has taken advantage of his intervention to educate the population about the importance of health measures against COVID-19 this Christmas. “Now that we are seeing the incidence rise, I ask Spanish society to trust science and prudence. Vaccines and a mask,” he explained. He has also encouraged parents to vaccinate children under 11 years of age: “Just as we have been an example to the world in vaccinating our elders, we are going to be an example of vaccinating our boys and girls.”
