The President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, and the first secretary of the PSC, Salvador Illa, met this Thursday around 5:00 p.m. in the La Central bookstore on Calle Mallorca in Barcelona after the Spanish-French Summit, they explained to Europa Press knowledgeable sources.
Sánchez gave Illa the book ‘La columna’, by Adrien Bosc, while the Catalan leader presented the president with ‘Tríptico de la tierra’, by Mercè Ibarz, and ‘Walks with my mother’, by Javier Pérez Andújar.
The meeting, which lasted about 45 minutes, took place after Sánchez signed the Barcelona Treaty together with the President of the French Republic, Emmanuel Macron, whom he later accompanied on a visit to the Museu Picasso.
