Sanaa.. The beginning of the evenings of Al-Rasul AlAzam Festival, “the 11th session”

SANAA, September 06, 2024 (Saba): The first evening of the Great Messenger Festival, “the eleventh session,” organized by the Imam al-Hadi Foundation for Artistic and Cultural Creativity began today in Sanaa.
At the beginning of the evening, the jury listened to the recitation of the participants – in the field of the Holy Quran – Fares Al-Bukhaiti, Ibrahim Wahab and Ibrahim Abdel Samad Abbas.
The jury, consisting of reciter Muhammad Hassan Al-Kabari, reciter Hamza Zubara and Sheikh Muhammad Al-Maafi, evaluated the performance of the participants.
They called on the participants to adhere to the provisions of Tajweed and to give the right to the verses being recited to keep decreasing in number and that the participants should strive to adhere to the Yemeni faith identity in reciting the Holy Quran.
Nasrallah Al-Hashemi, Ahmed Al-Arjali, Ismail Al-Qahhoum and Abbas Al-Ghurbani participated in the singing competition – junior category.
The jury, consisting of the President of the Singers Association, Ali Mohsen Al-Akwa, Muhammad Zubaida and Salah Talha, evaluated the performance of the participants.
The evening included two blitzes entitled “Muhammad, the Messenger of God” and “An Illuminating Siraj”; it included stations from the life of the Messenger – may God bless him and his family and grant them peace – and his jihad and victory for the oppressed, as well as the singing participation of a number of members of the Singers’ Association and a singing operetta entitled “The Spirit of Souls”, in praise of the Messenger of God – may God bless him and his family and grant them peace – and a play entitled “The Return of Juha”.
